Telling stories through sound — from club floors to cinema screens.
001 — Identity
Born in Switzerland. Drawn to Australia. Forged in Bristol. Now rooted in New Zealand. The journey was never linear — two abandoned university degrees, a year of work to fund a one-way ticket, a pandemic as backdrop to a fresh start. Every detour became part of the sound.
As PANØU, the work spans electronic music production, live performance, music for film, and sound design. The thread running through all of it is the same instinct that started everything: a laptop, a pair of headphones, and an infinite curiosity about what sound can do to a room — and to a person.
002 — The Journey
Switzerland
At 19, in a university dorm, everything changed. The infinite possibilities of electronic music production opened a door that could never be closed again.
Sydney, Australia
After a year of work to fund the move, an intensive course at Ableton Liveschool — taught alongside Nina Jirachi, Royalston and Flume — confirmed the path. A DJ residency at Surfers Paradise Gold Coast followed.

Switzerland · Southeast Asia · New Zealand
Built a business. Travelled seven months through Southeast Asia. Moved to New Zealand. Every landscape, every culture absorbed — waiting to surface in the music.
Kerikeri, New Zealand
Working at the Turner Centre. Writing again. A new name, a new chapter — with all the clarity that only comes from having lived something fully before putting it into sound.
003 — What I Do
Original electronic music across House, Techno, Drum & Bass and cinematic score. The unreleased project Last Train Home signals where the sound is heading — atmospheric, emotional, built to last.
Composition and production for moving image. Trained in scoring technique, sound-to-picture synchronisation, and the emotional architecture of a scene. Available for sync licensing and collaborative film projects.
From field recording and foley performance to layered sound effects editing for film and games. A deep interest in the texture and physicality of captured sound — the way a broken glass becomes a world.
004 — Live
Live performance ranges from intimate electronic sets on Ableton Push to full DJ sets spanning Deep House, Tech House and Melodic Drum & Bass. The approach is always the same: read the room, trust the moment, let the music breathe.

DJ Residency — Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, Australia. Weekly club residency.
Live Electronic — Ableton Push, hybrid live/DJ formats, collaborative performances.

005 — Projects
Selected work — documented, built, performed.
A documented deep dive into hardware-centred composition: modular rack patching, CV/gate architecture, no-input mixer feedback loops, and fully analogue signal chains. Two original compositions produced without a DAW at the centre — the hardware was the instrument, the instrument was the song.
An original composition conceived and transposed into a 15-minute recorded live performance. The piece draws on Viking-era influences — including a recorded Lur sample — woven into a hybrid electronic-acoustic rig. Every signal path was hand-mapped. Every loop was live.
Three years of hands-on studio work across analogue and digital workflows — from tracking sessions on large-format consoles to spatial audio delivery for film.
